Here are the fonts that I am going to use for my magazine. I have decided to chose the 6th one down as it fits the rap style of my magazine the best

I started to brainstorm connotations of the music and hip hop / rap in general first. The first couple of names I came up with were flash, choonz and switch. Then I decried they were very typical magazine and boring magazines and then thought that a two word title would be better and different. I was think of haydonhop and grime central but then it hit me. I decided to use rap city as it sounds urban quite professional and has a catch to it.

Here is my moodboard. A lot of these items are normally assosciated with male rappers, we know this by in magazines rappers such as eminem wear g shocks and rappers talk about ciroc and jordans in there songs.

Proposal Feedback;

Luke; Good proposal with a lot of decent information and ideas. You could maybe add a little bit more detail to make it look better. 

David; Nice proposal with some key ideas and themes. You could do with structuring it better to make it clearer.

Proposal;

For the Music Magazine I am going make I am going to focus on Rap/Hip-Hop.  I feel this is an appropriate genre of music as it is coming popular again with a lot of new artists such as drake and Eminem. The hip-hop world has been interesting lately as a lot of famous new rappers keep  from making new songs and albums such as Drake, Lil Wayne and Eminem all being released this year, there has never been a better time for a magazine like mine as the  hip hop scene is booming. With a lot of new rappers trying to make it in the hip hop scene the current time is ideal for making unpopular rappers known in the cruel music industry. The audience that my magazine will be aimed towards will be 16+ as most of the albums/artists we will be reviewing will have some explicit content during their songs and interviews. My magazine is looking to be released on the 1^st of Every Month as kids normally get pocket money at the start of a new month. I think a monthly magazine will be a lot better than a weekly one as there is more time for rappers and the music industries to release new information and singles. The magazine will be in a lot more detail than a monthly one to compensate how much time it takes to be released. Due to the more detail and exclusive images the magazine will be available for £4.99 each month which I believe to be more than reasonable for the quality of the magazine. The magazine will hopefully be advertised on all of the major Hip-Hop stations in England which is appropriate for our magazine. We will also be promoting the magazine on Social Media sites such as Twitter and Facebook as they are used by more than 1/6 of the Globes Population.
